First Flight Venture Center, a science and technology incubator in Research Triangle Park, has again won aU.S. Small Business Administration(SBA) Federal and State Technology (FAST) Partnership Programgrant from the Small Business Administration. The FAST program is meant to increase the number of competitive grant applications for Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) but also to impact grant funding WINS by underrepresented companies in NC.
First Flight has partnered with Eva Garland Consulting (EGC), a nationally recognized grant-writing firm with expertise in the SBIR/STTR program, to deliver the First Flight FAST program.
SBIR/STTR EDUCATION SEMINAR CONTENT: The seminar, delivered by EGC scientific consultants, will focus on all aspects of how to strategically approach obtaining funding from the SBIR/STTR program, including aligning business and technology development needs with available opportunities, proposal development, budgets, and award management. EGC’s team has successfully secured millions of dollars in SBIR/STTR funding for startup clients.
