Event Description:
This event is designed to showcase North Carolina’s biologics and pharmaceutical (biopharma) manufacturing educational opportunities statewide. The event will feature representatives from local training programs including BTEC at NC State, NC BioNetwork and several community colleges. Plus there will be a panel of students who have successfully completed those training programs and a panel of industry representatives including Abzena and FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies sharing what it takes to get hired at their company. Ample networking time with refreshments will allow you to learn about available training programs and connect with our invited speakers and other attendees.

12:30 - 1 p.m. - Registration and Networking
1 - 1:15 p.m. - Introduction of event and Student Panel
1:15 - 2:15 p.m. - Panel discussion: Faces of Success - Former students from local educational programs will discuss how these programs helped to prepare them for a career in biopharma
2:15 - 3:10 p.m. - Break for Networking
3:10 - 3:15 p.m. - Introduction of Industry Panel
3:15 - 4:15 p.m. - Panel Discussion: Path to Success - Company representatives will share their views on skills needed for a successful career in biopharma
4:15 - 4:20 p.m. - Closing Remarks, Thank you to speakers and Adjourn
4:20 - 5 p.m. - Networking
